Hodar

Locanth created Hodar. It is one of the coldest regions on the planet, and one of the most sparsely populated. Though the farmland is rich, cold weather kills off most of the harvest.

SERPENTAR

CAPITAL: Olmantage

MAIN POPULACE: Centaur, Nightmare, and Goblin- kin

NATIONAL ALIGNMENT: Chaotic Good

GOVERNMENT: Monarchy

ALLIES: Delladin

GEOGRAPHY: Located in the northwest corner of Hodar, Serpentar is a mix of fertile plains and thick forests. Lakes, rivers, and streams are common in this part of Hodar. For the most part the land is flat, though there are some mountains in the south.

CLIMATE: Serpentar is in one of the warmer regions of Hodar. Though still temperate, it is not as cold as one might think. Warm air from the equator blows over Serpentar, keeping it from becoming another cold wasteland.

POLITICS: Serpentar is more concerned with its own problems than the problems of others. Like many Centaur- populated regions, there is friction between the Centaurs and Nightmares of Serpentar.

TRADE: Most of the surplus food produced in Serpentar is traded south and eventually reaches Dunnap, Kollign, and Narshee.

 

NORTHERN DEADLANDS

CAPITAL: Goblin Town

MAIN POPULACE: Bilnarko and Goblin- kin

LANGUAGES: Bilnarkish*, Gobbely*, Common

NATIONAL ALIGNMENT: Chaotic Neutral

GOVERNMENT: Dictatorship

ALLIES: None

GEOGRAPHY: East of Serpentar is the region known as the Northern Deadlands. It is a rocky, mountainous region, with vast tracts of forests and plains.

CLIMATE: Identical to Serpentar.

POLITICS: The Goblin- kin rule the Northern Deadlands with an iron fist, but they fear the mountains, for they are the home of the Bilnarko. The Bilnarko kill the Goblin- kin whenever they can, but have yet to muster enough curage to cross the plains and destroy their evil.

TRADE: None.

 

DELLADIN

CAPITAL: Fargo

MAIN POPULACE: Elves and Goblin- kin

LANGUAGES: Delladinan*, Serpentaran*, Dunnapan*, Gobbely, Common, Gorthosan+

NATIONAL ALIGNMENT: Neutral Good

GOVERNMENT: Monarchy

ALLIES: Serpentar, Dunnap

GEOGRAPHY: Delladin lies just south of Serpentar. Though they are not separated by a great distance, the change in climate is staggering. Coniferous forests and the occasional mountain range cover Delladin.

CLIMATE: Cold temperate, moving towards tundra in the south.

POLITICS: Delladin just tries to get by. Aside from the rare random border raid by Gorthos, the Elves are left alone by most races.

TRADE: The food from Serpentar often passes through here on its way to the southern nations.

 

GORTHOS

CAPITAL: Derrentos

MAIN POPULACE: Minotaur and Goblin- kin

LANGUAGES: Gorthosan*, Gobbely*, Common, Delladinan+, Dunnapan+

NATIONAL ALIGNMENT: Neutral Evil

GOVERNMENT: Empire

ALLIES: None

GEOGRAPHY: East of Delladin and Dunnap lies the small nation of Gorthos. The entire nation is covered by tundra or thin coniferous forest. A chain of mountains to the east prevents travel.

CLIMATE: Identical to southern Delladin and northern Dunnap.

POLITICS: Gorthos doesn’t care about the other nations. They will steal what they need to survive and will kill any who get in their way.

TRADE: None.

 

DUNNAP

CAPITAL: Dannarr

MAIN POPULACE: Human and Goblin- kin

LANGUAGES: Dunnapan*, Kollignish*, Delladinan*, Gobbley, Common, Gorthos+

NATIONAL ALIGNMENT: Chaotic Good

GOVERNMENT: Dictatorship

ALLIES: Kollign, Delladin

GEOGRAPHY: Dunnap is south of Delladin. Most of the country is covered by tundra or huge glaciers. The few lakes in this region are frozen for nine months out of the year.

CLIMATE: Arctic in most areas.

POLITICS: Dunnap only tries to keep from freezing to death in the extreme cold. They do not care about politics or the rest of the world.

TRADE: Dunnap trades with its neighbors for food and furs.

 

VENHERR

CAPITAL: Sourr

MAIN POPULACE: Dwarves and Goblin- kin

LANGUAGES: Venherrch*, Wowrrch*, Gobbely*, Common

NATIONAL ALIGNMENT: Neutral Good

GOVERNMENT: Monarchy

ALLIES: None

GEOGRAPHY: Venherr lies under the ground south of the Northern Deadlands. The area is filled with rocky hills pushed up by the heavy glaciers in the south.

CLIMATE: Identical to Gorthos.

POLITICS: Any Goblin will tell you that this land is part of the Northern Deadlands. The Mountain Dwarves who live here are reclusive and avoid contact with other beings.

KOLLIGN

CAPITAL: None

MAIN POPULACE: Kender, Halflings, and Goblin- kin

LANGUAGES: Kollignan*, Dunnapan*, Gobbely, Common, Gorthosan+, Wowerrch+

NATIONAL ALIGNMENT: Chaotic Neutral

GOVERNMENT: Anarchy

ALLIES: Dunnap

GEOGRAPHY: Kollign is the southernmost nation in the world. The entire nation is covered by a large glacier. The people of Kollign trade for what they need.

CLIMATE: Identical to southern Dunnap.

POLITICS: Like Dunnap, Kollign only makes political ties with those willing to help them survive.

TRADE: Kollign trades only with Dunnap.

 

WOWERR

CAPITAL: Yowwin

GOVERNMENT: Dictatorship

GEOGRAPHY: Wowerr lies south of the Northern Deadlands. Most of the nation is tundra, though there are areas of coniferous forest in the north.

CLIMATE: Identical to Dunnap and southern Delladin.

POLITICS: Wowerr is an isolationist country. Few outsiders have ever returned from this mysterious nation.
