DESCRIPTION:

Locanth is the kind and cheerful God of the harvest. He lives on the small island of Mariblis, near the heart of Artariia. It is covered with orchards and large fields holding every edible plant on Karion. Locanth spends much of his time tending to his many fields, meaning he has little time to wander about on the planet below. However, he does have a soft spot for halflings and gnomes, and the childish antics of the kender.

Locanth is the most peaceful of all the Gods. He is reluctant to even raise his voice to the others. Most evil Gods think they can bully him, but his wife Semra is always at his side and will fiercely defend him. He is a bit shy and does not like to deal with the other Gods much; he prefers to stay home with his wife and tend to his gardens.

LOCANTH'S AVATARS (CLERIC, 15th LEVEL)

When Locanth does manage to make the journey to Karion, he usually takes the form of a halfling farmer or cleric. He always will appear poor, but always has a warm smile and a hearty handshake. He often visits simple folk, and repays them for their hard labor with a bountiful harvest or a gift of food.

DUTIES OF THE PRIESTHOOD:

The clerics who follow the teachings of Locanth are required to have the Agriculture proficiency. They should be peaceful and should teach others to be as well. Most importantly, they must use what money they have to help the poor, particularly poor farmers. Holy days are celebrated by a large feast and a prayer session.
